Capas National Shrine gets a special patent

CAPAS, Tarlac: The Capas National Shrine (CNS), one of the province's premier tourist destinations, received a special patent for its land from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Handog Titulo program.

DENR Undersecretary for Legal, Administration, Human Resources and Legislative Affairs Ernesto Adobo Jr. said the move was in line with the marching order of Acting Environment secretary Jim Sampulna to prioritize the issuance of land titles to all military, naval, and air force military camps and reservations.

The Capas National Shrine is a memorial built by the Philippine government at Camp O’Donnell in Barangay Aranguren in Capas, Tarlac, in honor of all the Filipino and American soldiers who endured the historical Death March during World War 2. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
