Manila, Cebu fail to make deep run in Manila Masters

Philippine teams Manila Chooks and Cebu Chooks failed to make a deep run in the Chooks-to-Go FIBA 3x3 World Tour Manila Masters as both teams lost in the quarterfinals Sunday at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

Manila bowed to Sansar MMC Energy of Mongolia, 16-21, while Cebu lost to world no.1 Liman of Serbia, 11-21, in the quarters. Liman went on to make the finals, but lost to fellow Serbian team and champion UB, 20-17.
