Covid cases up but hospital admissions 'manageable'

THE head of an association of local private hospitals said on Saturday that the rate of admission was manageable despite the recent increase in coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the country.

'We are not worried so much because most of those who are symptomatic are not that severe right now,' Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines (Phapi) President Dr. Jose Rene de Grano said in a public briefing.

The vaccination drive-through at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila will continue until June 6, 2022 and will be moved to the 'Kartilla ng Katipunan' near Manila City Hall.
