INTERNATIONAL travelers can now complete the new Currencies Declaration Form (CDF) online after the central bank updated the rules on cross-border currency transfers.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said in a statement issued over the weekend that it has issued a new CDF that replaces the Foreign Currency and Other Foreign Exchange-Denominated Bearer Monetary Instruments Declaration Form and combines the data requirements of the Bureau of Customs (BoC), the Anti-Money Laundering Council and the BSP.
