DOF @125 working hard for a strong economic resurgence

OVER the past 125 years, the Department of Finance (DoF) has remained the steward of sound fiscal policy and is now on its digital transformation journey to help prepare the Philippines for the new economy.

Founded on April 24, 1897 by the Philippine Revolutionary Government, the DoF was mandated to formulate revenue policies that will ensure the funding of critical government programs and accelerate economic growth and stability.
