UP thumps UE to end 4-game slide

University of the Philippines (UP) scored a 25-23, 26-24, 25-17 straight sets win over University of the East (UE) to arrest a four-game slide in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84 women's volleyball tournament at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.

Alyssa Bertolano scored 14 points, all coming from attacks, to lead the Fighting Maroons past the Lady Warriors for their fourth win in eight games.
