Senate OKs on 3rd reading bill penalizing indiscriminate firing

VOTING 21-0-0, the Senate on Thursday passed on third and final reading Senate Bill (SB) 2501 penalizing wilful and indiscriminate discharge of firearms.

Sen. Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa, sponsor of SB 2501, said the Filipinos 'are not strangers to the incidents that gave rise to the need for this measure.'
