Manila mayoral bet files election protest

LAWYER Alex Lopez filed a protest before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) contesting the election and proclamation of outgoing Vice Mayor Maria Sheila 'Honey' Lacuna as mayor of the city of Manila.

In his election protest, a copy of which was obtained by The Manila Times, Lopez alleged that massive electoral fraud, anomalies and irregularities were committed in all the 1,859 clustered precincts in Manila.
