ILOCOS Norte-based Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) is setting up an internet-free information kiosk in its main library for quick access to thousands of digitized science and technology resources, according to the university's strategic communication office.
Daniel Tapaoan Jr., MMSU information officer, said the project was made possible through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) in Region 1 and MMSU to put up the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk (StarBooks) in the university.
