THE Department of Education (DepEd) honored math and science teachers for developing innovative financial literacy self-learning modules (SLMs) as they were recognized in the online awarding for The Search for the Best SLM in the Teaching of Defined Key Concepts in Science and Mathematics.

This was done in partnership with its partners, Banco de Oro (BDO) Foundation and Huawei Philippines, with the competition launched in December 2021 which was open to all teachers as an avenue to developing a financially literate citizenry.
