SINGAPORE: Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Wednesday it expected the Southeast Asian island state's economy to expand by 3 percent to 5 percent this year, with the actual figure likely to hit at the lower end of the range.
The ministry made the forecast after taking into account the performance of the country's economy in the first quarter, and global and domestic economic developments.
