1 killed as troops attack terror group

A MEMBER of the Dawlah Islamiya (DI) was killed as the Armed Forces of the Philippines launched preemptive military attacks against the terrorist group in Ganta village, Datu Salibo town, Maguindanao.

Brig. Gen. Eduardo Gubat, acting 6th Infantry Division (6ID) commander, confirmed the air strikes in the marshland of Datu Salibo, saying the group of Abu Torayfe, believed to be the 'emir' in Mindanao, was sighted in the area.
