VARIOUS business groups and shipping industry stakeholders have sought the revocation of the Philippine Port Authority (PPA)'s policy, enabling container monitoring in ports which can hamper port operations and add cost to consumers.

Different business organizations issued an open letter entitled 'United call to revoke PPA Administrative Order 04-2021 and Investigate.' They wanted to stop the Trusted Operator Program-Container Registry Monitoring System (TOP-CRMS) and Empty Container Storage Shared Services Facility (ECSSSF) of PPA.
