OCCIDENTAL Mindoro Gov. Eduardo Gadiano has sought the help of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in addressing the five to six hours of daily power interruption in the province.
"Makikiusap tayo sa ERC na mabigyan ng provisional authority at mapondohan ang subsidy para sa 10mw supply na manggagaling sa NPC (National Power Corp.). Bagsak na ang economy ng Occidental Mindoro dahil sa brownout na 'yan, lahat ng consumers talagang nagagalit na dahil sa palaging brownout," Gadiano told The Manila Times on Monday.
