THE Senate has adopted House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 23, allowing top defense officials and 50 other military personnel to accept the "Medal of Peace" award from Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
HCR 23 allows Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff retired general Cirilito Sobejana and 53 other AFP personnel to receive the awards.
