Senate OKs bill on birth, marriage certificates

THE Senate approved on Monday, at the third and final reading, a remedial legislation conferring lifetime validity on birth, death and marriage certificates.

The senators passed Senate Bill (SB) 2450 or the proposed 'Permanent Validity of the Certificates of Live Birth, Death, and Marriage Act.'
