THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ordered all local government units (LGUs) to enact ordinances on the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.
Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said the order is a requirement for the issuance of business permits to establishments catering to a large number of customers, and to those that are at risk or hazard-prone.
