CONGRESS, which has convened as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), resumed its committee meeting on Tuesday, to canvass the votes cast for president and vice president in the May 2022 elections.

'As Chairperson of the House panel, I give the assurance that the meetings before this Committee on the canvassing of votes will be characterized by accuracy, transparency, and expediency,' House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez, chairman of the House contingent to the committee, said in his preliminary remarks.
