THE Philippine bourse opened the trading week in the red as lingering concerns onshore and abroad weighed on market sentiment.

The local stock barometer Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) dropped 0.87 percent, or 58.48 points, to 6,687.85 while the broader All Shares slipped 0.61 percent, or 22.03 points, to finish at 3,591.21.
