PH no longer king of men's basketball in the SEA Games

The Philippine men's basketball team bowed to Indonesia, 81-85, on Sunday in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

That loss relegated the heavily favored Gilas Pilipinas team to second place and ended the Filipinos' 33-year reign in men's 5x5 basketball in the SEA Games.

June Mar Fajardo scored 20 points in the game against Indonesia but even his towering presence was not enough to win the gold medal for Gilas Pilipinas in the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Sunday in Hanoi, Vietnam.
