Magnitude 6.1 quake rocks Batangas

A MAGNITUDE 6.1 earthquake hit Calatagan in Batangas on Sunday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The quake, tectonic in origin, occurred at 5:50 a.m. It had a depth of 122 kilometers.
