First Metro names Caparas as the new chairman

FIRST METRO Investment Corp., the investment banking arm of Metrobank, announces the appointment of Mary Mylene Caparas as the new chairman of its board of directors effective on April 28. She is the second woman to be elected to handle the top post.

Caparas will succeed Francisco Sebastian who now chairs GT Capital Holdings Inc. He will also continue to be an active member of the advisory board of First Metro.
