Health workers assured of benefits

THE compensation for health care workers afflicted with Covid-19 will be fast-tracked with the issuance of a joint circular by the Department of Health (DoH) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

Under Joint Circular 2022-0002, all eligible personnel in public and private hospitals will receive P15,000 if they were infected with mild or moderate Covid infection. Those who had severe or critical cases will receive P100,000 and P1 million for the kin of those who died in the line of duty.
