Centino lauds troops for campaign vs CTGs

ARMED Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Andres Centino lauded the members of the Philippine Army's 5th Infantry 'Star' Division (5ID) for its successful campaign against communist terrorist groups (CTG) in Northern Luzon.

'With the active participation of the Star Division in our whole of nation approach, the people of Ilocos, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region felt significant economic progress, as well as peace and security in their communities,' Centino said in his visit on Tuesday.
