THE Department of Education (DepEd) has issued a memorandum discouraging the conduct of face-to-face end-of-school-year (EOSY) rites for the school year 2021-2022, citing the persistent threat of Covid-19.

"To ensure the protection of the health, safety, and well-being of learners, teachers, personnel, as well as parents, and other stakeholders, the face-to-face conduct of the EOSY rites is highly discouraged," DepEd Memorandum 43 s. 2022 read.
