SEC director recognized as one of Asia's Top Sustainability Superwomen

SECURITIES and Exchange Commission (SEC) Corporate Governance and Finance Department Director Rachel Esther Gumtang-Remalante has been selected as one of 10 Asia's Top Sustainability Superwomen, an annual listing by CSRWorks International of exceptional female sustainability leaders in the region. Asia's Top Sustainability Superwomen is a non-profit project initiated by CSRWorks, Singapore's most trusted name in sustainability consulting, training and thought leadership.

The awardees were selected from 52 nominations from 12 countries. Director Remalante is the only awardee from the Philippines. Other awardees hail from India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. An international jury reviews and assesses the nominations to identify the awardees. CSRWorks has celebrated excellence in sustainability and responsible business practices in Asia by recognizing the increasing number of women who are driving change through sustainability leadership. By recognizing the accomplishments of women, CSRWorks is supporting the network of women who drive positive change in the world.
