ALBAY Second District Rep. Jose Maria Clemente "Joey" Salceda said the next administration will need about P326 billion in new income every year to pay off the huge debt incurred during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Salceda, chairman of the House of Representatives' Committee on Ways and Means, said that "unless we can raise that kind of revenue, we will have to downscale our public spending or borrow again to pay the debt."
