Covid-19 continues to be one of the leading causes of death in the country for the first two months of the year, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.
National Statistician Dennis Mapa said that based on preliminary estimates, the number of reported fatalities in January to February reached 3,007, which accounts for 6.9 percent of the total registered deaths during the period.
