Governor to pitch NIR revival to Bongbong

BACOLOD CITY: Revival of the Negros Island Region (NIR) tops the wish list of Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson under the incoming Marcos administration.

Lacson, a staunch supporter of Vice President Maria Leonor 'Leni' Robredo, told The Manila Times in an interview on Sunday, May 15, that the NIR during its short operation benefited the province.
