ILIGAN CITY: The City Board of Canvassers headed by Joel Dexter Nagtalon and Celso Sarsaba and City Schools Division Supt. Roy Angelo Gazon has proclaimed former congressman (lone district of Iligan City) Frederick Siao as duly elected mayor of this city.

Other local officials proclaimed by the board included Vice Mayor Marianito 'Dodong' Alemania and Celso Regencia, who was elected to represent the district in Congress and Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council), Councilors Tete Pacana, Pisyong Larrazabal, Queenie Belmonte, Michelle Sweet, Tatay Huertas, Bong Abragan, Jake Balanay, Rayan Ong, Marlene Young, Ramil Emborong, Betsy Zalsos and Nicole Capangpangan.
