THE Quezon City government refused to issue a permit to the camp of Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo for its "thanksgiving event" on Friday.
The city's Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) chief Elmo San Diego confirmed this to The Manila Times, saying that the Liwasang Aurora at the Quezon Memorial Circle was not an ideal venue to hold the planned gathering.
