New LPA spotted off Davao City

A new low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Davao City and is embedded along the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) said on Thursday.

Both the LPA and ITCZ are affecting areas in Mindanao, according to the state-run weather agency.
