Marcos to appoint Sara Education chief

(UPDATED) PRESUMPTIVE president Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said he will appoint his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, as the next Education secretary.

In his address to the nation, Marcos said Duterte-Carpio has agreed to take the helm of the Department of Education.
