Mamba proclaimed as Cagayan governor

THE Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBC) has proclaimed Dr. Manuel Mamba as governor of Cagayan province along with the other local officials who won in the recently concluded election.

Lawyer Irving Calauad of the PBC said Mamba garnered 302,025 votes and won over a newcomer in the gubernatorial race, Dr. Zara Pulsar-Lara, who received 278,562 votes.
