Incumbents surge ahead of rivals in Cebu

Twelve politicians running for re-election in Cebu Province and its three cities surged ahead of their rivals, according to partial and unofficial results as of 11:00 p.m, May 9.

These incumbent officials include Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn 'Gwen' Garcia, Vice Gov. Hilario Davide III, Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard 'Ahong' Chan, Lapu-Lapu City Vice Mayor Celsi Sitoy, and Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony 'Samsam' Gullas Jr.
