DepEd: Teachers might back out from polls amidst threats

DEPARTMENT of Education (DepEd) Election Task Force (ETF) Head and Director for Procurement Management Service Atty. Marcelo Bragado said that teachers serving as poll workers on election day might back out if there are threats, or perceived threats.

In an interview with The Manila Times, he noted that personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) were fielded in Cotabato as teachers there chose not to serve in the elections.
