1 dead, 2 wounded in Davao clash

DAVAO CITY: A suspected member of the New People's Army (NPA) died while two members of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP SAF) were wounded in an encounter in Barangay Litos, Sulop, Davao del Sur, Friday night, May 6.

A report from Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 identified the fatality as Renil Pagalan, who was among the five armed men who engaged members of SAF troopers to a gun fight at around 10:45 p.m.
