Mindoro Electric Cooperative assures no brownout on election day

The Occidental Mindoro Electric Coop. (OMECO) has assured on Thursday that there will be no power outages in the province on election day, May 9.

Dir. Rodolfo Plopinio, president of Omeco Board of Directors, told The Manila Times that there will be no power interruptions on election day as they have requested the power provider Occidental Mindoro Consolidated Power Corp. (OMCPC) to start operating its 7-megawatt modular powerplant to augment the power supply shortage in the province.
