DoH ready to ensure polls conform to health protocols

THE Department of Health on Saturday said it was now coordinating with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to ensure that the 2022 National and Local Elections on Monday will conform to health protocols.

The country will hold its elections amid the continued threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, which has infected more than 3.6 million Filipinos.
