Stocks down on Wall St decline

THE Philippine bourse closed the trading week dropping to the 6,700-point territory on Friday amid the slump of US stocks overnight.

The local stock barometer Philippine Stock Exchange index dropped 1.59 percent, or 109.02 points, to 6,759.90 while the wider All Shares lost 1.13 percent, or 41.46 points, to finish at 3,621.70.
