Danao assumes post as PNP OIC

MALACAÑANG on Thursday confirmed the appointment of LtGen. Vicente Danao Jr. as officer in charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Danao's predecessor, Gen. Dionardo Bernardo Carlos, was due for mandatory retirement on Sunday, May 8.
