Ukraine war to slow PH growth

THE Philippine economy is expected to further grow this year but at a slower pace than what the government originally targeted due to the effects of the Russia-Ukraine war, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez said.

'The earlier projection for this year should have been about 7 to 9 percent and this growth rate projection has been tempered down. I think we're back to the initial projection of about 6 percent for this year,' Lopez said in a television interview on Tuesday.
