A week before the national and local elections, the Department of Education (DepEd) gave a stern warning to its teachers, non-teaching personnel, and officials against participating in electioneering and partisan political activities.
"We call on our DepEd officials and personnel to uphold political neutrality in the government service and maintain professionalism in the discharge of their duties," it said in a statement.
