Mayoral bet sees Pasay as 'eco-city'

MAYOR Imelda 'Emi' Calixto-Rubiano said her vision of Pasay as the first eco-city in the Philippines is the 'big driving force' for her seeking reelection on May 9.

'Look at Singapore and other developed countries that are highly-urbanized and yet remain environment friendly. This is the Pasay City that we are aiming for, the Pasay City that we will achieve once reelected,' Calixto-Rubiano said in an interview with The Manila Times.
