METROPOLITAN Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) reported that its net earnings improved in the first three months of the year due to stable net interest income.
The Ty-led lender said in a statement on Friday that it made a net profit of P8 billion in the first quarter of 2022, up 2.5 percent when compared to the P7.8-billion net earnings it reported a year ago.
