Guterres visits Ukraine as Russia-EU gas cutoff row escalates

(UPDATED) KYIV: United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres called war absurd during a visit to Ukraine on Thursday after Brussels warned Russia it would not waver in its support for Kyiv following Moscow's decision to cut gas supplies to Bulgaria and Poland.
