Japan's Kento Momota and Akane Yamaguchi will try to defend their titles in the US$400,000 Badminton Asia Championships scheduled from April 26 to May 1 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.
Momota ruled the men's singles event while Yamaguchi was crowned women's singles champion in the 2019 edition held in Wuhan, China. Both are currently No. 1 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings.
