Will Marcos repeat the errors of his father?

YES, he will — and worse. That's the sure reply of rival campaign teams and critics of former senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., who looks set to win the race for the presidency in elections three Mondays from April 24 by a landslide or even an outright majority, as his campaign team and his supporters aim for.

For confident opponents, however, there's no way Marcos would repeat the mistakes of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos Sr. for the simple reason that despite being consistently chosen by over-50 percent of respondents in nearly all voter surveys since October, he will lose.
