PH ready for demographic 'dividend' – expert

A POPULATION expert has said that the Philippines is now ready to achieve the so-called demographic dividend but needs to improve on certain 'socioeconomic preconditions.'

'Demographic dividend' is the economic growth resulting from a shift in the population structure where more members of the 15 to 64 age group are working.
