Bishops, priests warn of vote-buying

BORONGAN Bishop Crispin Varquez and priests warned the electorate to be wary of candidates who resort to vote-buying.

'Buying or selling votes to win an office is dishonest and defiles true democracy,' Varquez said in a pastoral letter.
